The teenagers of today are accusing the adults for not giving them enough "space" - enough freedom. So, what does it mean "enough freedom"? Does it mean complete freedom?
The teenagers of today are going to be the adults of tomorrow, and it means that they have to act like mature(ww. - grown-ups) at many things(phr.), such as doing their own tasks and taking care of their own duties.
